◆ Gauntlet

Privacy

Gauntlet is a small, privately run app for organising tournaments and keeping score among friends.

What we store

  • Your name and email address, and if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID. Google only shares your name, email address and whether it is verified (the openid, email and profile scopes). We never see your Google password and can't read anything else in your Google account.
  • The players, events, matches and scores people enter, and the ratings and statistics calculated from them.
  • A short activity log of changes (who entered or changed a result, and when).

What it's used for

Only to run Gauntlet: signing you in, showing schedules, results, standings and ratings to the people using it. Results and player names are visible to everyone who can sign in, and to anyone you give an event's share link.

What we don't do

No ads, no analytics or tracking, no selling or sharing of data with anyone. There are no third-party scripts on the site.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. Nothing else.

Where it's kept

On the server that runs Gauntlet and its database (hosted on DigitalOcean). It is kept as long as the app is used.

Your choices

You can ask for your account, or your player profile and results, to be changed or deleted at any time: write to thomas@machina.no. You can also stop Google sign-in for Gauntlet at any time under your Google account's connections.
